This was a pile of logs awaiting collection beside the road in Lasham. The timber is not of the best quality so I guess it will be used for fencing. I loved the honey colour of freshly sawn timber which was just a bit damp after all the rain we've had.
Fingerpost in Overton. This type of sign was very common at road junctions prior to the implimentation of national road numbering. As you can see this post is situated at the junction of two major roads and would have been an important staging point.
A pair of telephone boxes found in Overton. These red boxes once found all over the place are now few and far between. A part of British streetscape now almost extinct around here. In fact telephone boxes are being removed completely due to lack of use in some area's.
